Elora is now open 5 days a week vs the old 3 days in the Waterloo clinic and 2 days in the Elora clinic
I wanted to let you know about some new things, as well as a few changes at The Elora Clinic as a result of policies around Covid 19.
For those of you who are new to the Elora clinic, it is a 15-20 minute drive from the old waterloo clinic and is located in our home. There is a sign out front and parking available in the driveway. The entrance to the clinic is through the front door.
To make an appointment.
- Text or call the Elora number (519.501.7145) and leave time and date options as well as your email address. You will receive a Covid pre-screening form to be answered the day before your appointment.
- When you arrive for your appointment, I will have a copy of the form for you to sign.
- All appointments are 1-1/2 hour slots now, to include assessment, treatment for 60 minutes and 20 min of cleaning and airing out before the next client arrives.
- Please be prompt for your appointment – the waiting room is not open so I will meet you at the front door upon arrival.
What does this mean for you?
Cleaning and sanitizing- standards set by the CMTO in 2006
- Each client gets clean sheets, headrest covers etc. as has always been CMTO policy.
- All cleaning products are from a gov’t approved list (Spray Nine – biodegradable)
- Hand sanitizers are also all from the gov’t approved list (Isagel)
Now the new stuff…
- The pre-screening form
- Your temperature will be taken upon arrival with a touch free thermometer
- Additional floor covering under the table
- Vinyl pillow covers with cotton pillowcases for easy clean up.
- UVc air cleaner for clinic (surgical grade –made in Canada)
- Feel free to bring your own mask, otherwise we will provide you with one.
- I will be wearing a surgical mask
